Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient experience for a 13-week travel contract working 4x10-hour shifts Tuesday through Friday.
Details
- Outpatient PT clinic setting located within an athletic club facility
- Primary patient population is orthopedic, with variety expected given the small-town setting
- Occasional opportunity to assist with acute inpatient cases is a plus
- Patient load of approximately 12 patients per 10-hour day
- Schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM start, 10-hour shifts (4x10s)
- No weekend or holiday coverage required
- Charting is done in Meditech
- PT team includes 10 PTs, 5 OTs, and 2 SLPs; rehab aides available but no PTAs on staff
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Active Oregon PT license required for this assignment; license required if applicable
- Active BLS certification required — pending certifications will not be accepted
- Active state PT license must be in good standing at time of consideration — pending licenses will not be accepted
- Some acute inpatient experience is helpful but not required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include outpatient evaluation and treatment with a primarily orthopedic caseload, with potential cross-coverage to acute inpatient as needed
- Business casual attire required; denim is not permitted
- On-site orientation is provided on Day 1
- Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit or CHI/Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
