Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a CA RN license and 2+ years of recent L&D experience, with night shift availability for a 13-week assignment.

  • Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
  • 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
  • High-risk pregnancy patient population
  • RNs circulate in the OR but do not scrub
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
  • Minimum 2 years of recent, strong L&D experience required
  • Fetal heart monitoring skills and fetal assessment competency required
  • Must be autonomous and able to perform vaginal exams
  • Comfortable managing high-risk pregnancies
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • 3+ years of recent L&D experience preferred
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • Two clinical references required from the last two places of employment, from a leadership role (Nurse Manager, Director, or Charge Nurse), covering the last year of employment

  • Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be considered as local
  • A complete 7-year employment history is required, with explanations provided for any gaps exceeding 30 days
