Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Henderson, NC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and current fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Works in a 16-bed OB/GYN combined unit within a Joint Commission-accredited hospital
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract with 36 hours per week
• Approximately 5–6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• No scheduled call, but staff may be flexed down based on unit census
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines
• EMR: GE Centricity/Paragon
• Floating is not required but candidates may occasionally float to task or secretary roles

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, and Fetal Monitoring (intermediate level at minimum; advanced accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Experience in couplet care and LDRP settings required
• Some NICU experience required
• AHA-issued certifications required
• Social Security number required for consideration
• Date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
