Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience and RRT or CRT certification for a 13-week acute care travel assignment on nights or rotating shifts at a Level II trauma facility.
Details
- Acute care setting at a Level II trauma facility
- Respiratory Therapy unit serving NICU, PICU, and ICU patient populations
- 12-hour shifts on a night or day/night rotating schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- No on-call required
- Epic EMR used in this position
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- NICU experience required; NICU, PICU, and ICU experience preferred
- ICU experience required
- Active NBRC RRT or CRT credential required
- Active AHA BLS and ACLS required
- PALS and NRP preferred
- Active North Dakota (ND) Respiratory Therapy license required if applicable
- Two current professional references required: one supervisor reference within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one peer or supervisor reference from the position's specialty within the last 3 years
- All certifications must be active at time of consideration — no pending certifications accepted
Additional Information
- Candidates who have previously worked at any Sanford Health location must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their consideration date
- Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Gray scrubs required
- All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
