Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical Oncology position requiring SC licensure, a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience, and stepdown/PCU float capability.

Details

• Work on a 22-bed adult Medical Surgical Oncology unit (5T)
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekday shifts with every other weekend required
• Float to the PCU/Stepdown unit as needed
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Meditech EMR in use
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license accepted in SC — must already be in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Stepdown/PCU experience required due to float responsibilities
• Proficient IV start skills required
• No license or background issues will be accepted
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Care for adult medical surgical and oncology patients
• Travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Royal blue and/or white scrubs required — not provided by the facility
