Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Postpartum (LDRP) position requiring a minimum of 3 years of LDRP experience and an active C-EFM certification.

Details

• Work in a 27-bed Family Center LDRP unit specializing in couplet care, newborn assessment services, and antepartum patient services
• Patient population includes postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients
• Supports Labor & Delivery needs through floating; L&D triage and circulating responsibilities are excluded
• Antepartum and postpartum cross-training is expected
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Rotating weekends required; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand — no exceptions
• Current BLS certification required
• Active Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification required at time of consideration
• Minimum 3 years of current, strong LDRP experience required
• Acute care RN experience required
• Antepartum and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide couplet care, newborn assessments, and antepartum nursing services within an LDRP setting
• Float to Labor & Delivery as needed to support unit staffing (excluding triage and circulating roles)
• Unit is located approximately one hour from both Baltimore and Washington, DC, offering a suburban environment with easy access to metro areas
