Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Postpartum (LDRP) position requiring at least 3 years of LDRP experience and an active C-EFM certification.

Details

• 27-bed Family Center LDRP unit specializing in couplet care, newborn assessment, and antepartum patient services
• Patient population includes postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients, with floating to Labor & Delivery to support LDRP needs
• Labor and delivery scope excludes triage and circulating responsibilities
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• Rotating weekends and holidays required; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license — Maryland or Compact license required, no exceptions
• Current certifications: BLS and Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) — both required at time of consideration
• Minimum 3 years of current, strong LDRP experience required
• Prior acute care RN experience required
• Antepartum and EFM experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Antepartum/postpartum cross-training is expected in this role
• The facility is located approximately one hour from both Baltimore and Washington, DC, offering a suburban setting with easy access to city amenities
