Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position in California, requiring a CA license, BLS, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8s (8:00–17:00)
• 13-week contract
• No floating or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Current California PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a B.S., B.A., M.A., M.S., or D.P.T. degree approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include planning and implementing individualized treatment programs according to the principles and practices of physical therapy
• Serves as a clinical resource and provides structured educational opportunities within the hospital in area(s) of specialization
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former employees must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
