Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position at a leading pediatric hospital in Boston, requiring prior pediatric critical care and congenital heart disease experience.

Details

  • Position is in the Cardiovascular Pediatric ICU (CVPICU) of a large academic pediatric hospital in Boston, MA
  • Patients include pediatric pre- and post-operative cases with congenital heart disease
  • 50/50 day/night rotation with 12-hour shifts (days: 7:00–19:30, nights: 19:00–7:30); permanent nights may also be available
  • 3x12-hour shifts per week
  • 3 out of every 6 weekends required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating required to MSICU, MICU, NICU, and ACCU

Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS and PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of experience required
  • Pediatric critical care experience required
  • Pre- and post-operative experience with congenital heart disease patients required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
