Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical/Surgical position on a high-acuity unit at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of M/S experience in a high-volume hospital setting.

Details

• Unit 9A Medical is a general medical/surgical unit with overflow oncology patients
• Common diagnoses include general medical/surgical conditions and oncology overflow cases
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling is generally not approved
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience required
• 8-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent M/S nursing experience required
• Experience in a high-acuity, high-volume hospital environment required — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Proven ability to manage critical, fast-paced situations with complex and diverse patient cases
• Epic EMR experience required

• This facility is an inner-city Level 1 trauma center known for high complexity and high patient volume
• No RTO (time off requests) will be approved for this assignment
