Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery travel assignment requiring prior travel experience and active NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM certifications.
Details
- High-risk Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- On-call required: 36 hours per 6-week period (12 hours per pay period); must be on-site within 45 minutes of receiving a call
- Floating required within skillset, including Mother/Baby and postpartum units
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM
- AWHONN certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
- High-risk L&D experience required
- At least 1 prior travel assignment required
- Skills required: circulating, fetal heart monitoring (FHM), and preceptor and/or charge experience
- Triage experience preferred
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible; local rates differ from travel rates
- Any time-off or scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront
