Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Catheterization Lab position requiring at least 1 year of cardiovascular or critical care experience and current ACLS certification.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Catheterization (Cath Lab) unit of a hospital setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
- Day shift: 07:00–15:30
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NJ or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting required
- BSN preferred
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, communicating with physicians about patient condition, assessing procedure room readiness, and obtaining supplies for individual cases
- Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
- Local candidates are welcome to apply
- DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) certification required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or a free CDC resource
