Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a NJ or compact license and prior cardiovascular lab or critical care experience.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Catheterization unit of a hospital setting
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations
- Day shift schedule from 07:00-15:30
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active NJ or compact RN license required
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS (AHA or Red Cross) certification required
- Current ACLS (AHA or Red Cross) certification required
- DCI/BVP Workplace Violence Prevention certification required
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work or in a Critical Care setting required
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient condition
- Monitor and record patient physiologic and hemodynamic data throughout diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Assist with maintenance of equipment and inventory and assess procedure room readiness
- Obtain supplies for individual cases and support overall Cardiovascular Lab team needs
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
