Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring cardiovascular or critical care experience and ACLS certification.
Details
- Cardiac Catheterization unit setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift schedule from 07:00-15:30
Requirements
- Active RN license (NJ or Compact) required
- BSN preferred
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care setting required
- Workplace Violence Prevention certification (DCI/BVP) required
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of the surgical environment
- Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient condition
- Assist with equipment maintenance, inventory, and procedure room readiness
- Monitor and record physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
