Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and at least one prior travel assignment for a weekend day shift contract.
Details
- Hospital-based CT scan unit
- Adult acute care and adult outpatient patient population
- CT procedures include abdomen, chest, and head scans (with and/or without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma imaging
- Equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT scanners, as well as PACS
- Friday shift: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM; Saturday and Sunday shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Schedule is 3x12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday only
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Current BLS required
- MD State License required — license required if applicable
- Proficiency with GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment and PACS
- Experience with abdomen, chest, and head CT scans (with and/or without contrast)
- Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Ability to start peripheral IVs
- Experience with musculoskeletal trauma imaging
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging across a range of adult acute care and outpatient cases including abdomen, chest, head, and musculoskeletal trauma
- Candidates located within 60 miles of the facility should contact their American Traveler recruiter for details regarding local eligibility
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
