Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience for a night shift weekend assignment at a high-acuity, inner-city trauma center specializing in stroke and burn cases.

Details

• CT department within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center with stroke and burn specializations
• 6 CT scanners total: 3 in the Emergency Care Center (ECC), 2 for inpatient, and 1 on the neuro floor used overnight
• GE scanners — 2 on the older platform and 5 on the Revolution scanner platform
• Epic EMR
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Weekend schedule covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
• 3 shifts per week with 4 weekend shifts expected per month
• Block scheduling is generally not approved

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state license required if applicable
• Proven experience in high-acuity, high-volume trauma environments — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
• Demonstrated ability to manage critical, fast-paced trauma situations with diverse and severe case types
• Experience with GE CT scanners preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred

• Technologist team on weekend nights typically consists of 4–6 CT techs across the department
