Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg travel assignment in Massachusetts requiring telemetry experience and a willingness to float to any Med/Surg unit.

• Acute care hospital Med/Surg unit setting
• Unit size ranges from 20 to 34 beds depending on the unit
• Typical patient ratio of 1:6
• Telemetry monitoring required for patient population
• Must be willing to float to any Med/Surg unit within the facility
• Block scheduling is not available for this assignment

Requirements

• Active MA RN license currently in hand — must be uploaded at time of consideration
• Current certifications required and in hand: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• Minimum 2 years of current Med/Surg experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• One supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• Med/Surg skills checklist (current within 1 year) required
• Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable — no specific color requirement
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront; the facility will not approve scheduling requests at or after the time of offer or interview, and late requests may result in a rescinded offer
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested
• Two specific interview dates and times of availability must be provided — 'anytime' is not accepted
• Provide interview availability at the time of consideration to avoid processing delays
