Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position at an acute care hospital in Sanford, NC, requiring Women's Services experience and multiple certifications including NRP and AWHONN.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a combined OB/GYN department at a 137-bed acute care hospital
• Unit consists of 17 L&D rooms and 5 OB rooms, all within one unit
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• On-call as needed
• Floating required as needed
• EHR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact license valid in NC
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, AWHONN, and CPI/HWC/MAB — AHA-issued certifications required
• 1–2 years of Women's Services experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• All required certifications must be obtained prior to assignment start
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Full-time employment elsewhere is not permitted while on this assignment
• Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
