Description

American Traveler is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week outpatient-focused contract at a community-based facility.

Details

• Primarily outpatient setting (~95%), with approximately 5% long-term care and skilled swing coverage
• Therapist must be able to treat a broad range of patient presentations
• Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 13-week contract with strong potential for extension

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Active state PT license required
• Ability to adapt to a community-centered, collaborative care approach
• Broad clinical competency to treat a diverse outpatient patient population
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, implementation, education, and communication to support functional goal achievement
• Therapist is expected to maintain positive working relationships with interdisciplinary health professionals and support staff
• Collaborative environment where giving and receiving suggestions is encouraged
