Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital environment
Every other weekend requirement — Friday and Saturday nights (Sunday nights are not considered a weekend shift)
13-week contract

Requirements

Active Illinois RN license currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS/BCLS and ACLS
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
PCU or relevant progressive care experience expected

Additional Information

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate medical records
Provide patient and family education, including explanations and care instructions
Expected to meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care and participate in continuing education
Contribute to a positive workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management
