Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience, ARRT CT certification, and a background in high-acuity inpatient and outpatient settings for a 13-week night shift contract.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting, Level I Trauma Center and teaching facility with 1,259 staffed beds
- Inpatient and outpatient CT work with high-complexity cases
- Procedures required: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Preferred procedures: aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies
- All Siemens scanners; PACS and contrast administration required
- IV starts, portables, and biopsies are preferred skills
- Epic EMR; experience required
- 3x12-hour night shifts, Sunday through Tuesday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (Sundays required)
- Floating within clinical scope per facility policy may be required; no floating to sister facilities
- No on-call required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- ARRT (CT) certification required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Current BLS required
- Valid MO State License required; candidates submitting with an IL license may be considered with a pending IL license
- License required if applicable
- Inpatient and outpatient setting experience required
- Experience with PACS and contrast administration required
- Experience with Siemens scanners preferred
- Level I Trauma, teaching hospital, community hospital, or adult ICU experience preferred
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrub colors: black, red, or white
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract, with no RTO during the first week of orientation
- Former permanent employees of this facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Allied travelers may remain for up to 12 months, after which a 6-month break in service is required before returning
- Parking passes are available for purchase at varying monthly rates depending on lot; night shift workers park at no charge in employee parking
