Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience, NRP, and AWHONN or C-EFM certification for a night shift contract in Lafayette, CO.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three days per week (36 hrs/week)
- Weekend requirement of 10 weekend shifts per 8-week period (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights count toward this requirement)
- On-call requirement of 1–3 call shifts per 8-week period
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license required (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 1 year of L&D nursing experience required
- Required certifications (must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to start): BLS, NRP, and either AWHONN or C-EFM
- ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients
- Performs health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient life and well-being
- Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
- Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- 18-week contract
