Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ECMO Specialist RN for a pediatric hospital setting, requiring Cardio Help experience and the ability to manage both VA and VV ECMO.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting specializing in ECMO care for cardiac and non-cardiac patients
- ECMO Specialist unit with float responsibilities to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU as needed
- Manages patients on both VA ECMO and VV ECMO circuits
- When no ECMO patients are present, functions as a bedside ICU nurse caring for cardiac, non-cardiac, or NICU patients
- 1:2 patient ratio
- Day shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every 3rd weekend required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NE or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Cardio Help equipment experience required
- Proficiency managing both VA ECMO and VV ECMO required
Additional Information
- Serves as pump specialist for pediatric patients requiring ECMO support for cardiac and non-cardiac indications
