Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Level 1 Trauma Center position requiring 3 years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

  • Work in a large hospital OR environment with 41 operating rooms at a Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Cases include General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastics
  • Patient ratio is 1:1
  • Shift is mid-shift (10:45–23:15), 3x12-hour days, any day of the week with occasional float to 0645 or 0845 start times
  • Weekend work required per unit needs
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating required to other OR suites within the same health system
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
  • Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a local bill rate
  • RTO is capped at 10 days maximum and is not permitted during the following blackout periods: June 28–July 9, July 9–September 2, September 2–12, and October 25–November 4
  • 13-week contract
