Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a hospital in Winchester, VA, requiring 2+ years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work in the Surgical Services department of a 495-bed hospital in Winchester, VA
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM (4x10s)
- OR experience required across multiple specialties including Robotics, General, Trauma, Ortho, Vascular, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic
- Epic EMR required
- On-call required 6–8 times per month, which may include weekends
- No floating required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active VA state RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA only; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- US Social Security Number required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible

- Blue scrubs required per Valley Health dress code policy
