Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 1+ year of L&D experience, night shift availability, and a high weekend commitment.
Details
- Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- 10 weekend shifts required per 8-week period (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights are included in weekend rotation)
- 1–3 on-call shifts required per 8-week period
- Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
- Epic EMR used for charting
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CO single-state or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP, and either AWHONN or C-EFM — all must be AHA-issued and must not expire prior to the assignment start date
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required (ASN minimum; BSN preferred)
- Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for L&D patients
- Performs patient consultation, health teaching, health counseling, delegation, supervision, and documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Former permanent employees of any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
- BSN is preferred but not required
