Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist with 3+ years of experience for a diagnostic imaging position in a rural, culturally diverse healthcare setting in Northwestern Arizona.

Details

• Works in a JCAHO-accredited regional health center serving inpatient and outpatient populations across a 4,400 square mile service area, including Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute communities
• Provides diagnostic radiologic services across multiple service lines including Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and ENT
• Operates teleradiology and fax equipment as part of routine responsibilities
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM (includes 1-hour lunch)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiology required
• Active AZ State Radiology license required (license required if applicable)
• ARRT(R) certification required
• Current BLS certification from the AHA required
• Must have graduated from an AMA-approved school of Radiology
• Proficiency with teleradiology and fax equipment required

Additional Information

• Responsible for the technical operation of radiologic x-ray equipment and processing of radiographic images
• Orientation is held every 2 weeks
• COVID-19 vaccination required; flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted with a declination form
• Fingerprinting is required prior to start and is completed during the compliance process via mail
• This facility is located in a very rural area; housing may be available through the facility but is not guaranteed — a housing application must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to start
