Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Lafayette, CO, requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and active ACLS and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Works in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a hospital setting in Lafayette, CO
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts (1900–0730)
• 7 weekend shifts required per 8-week block
• 36 hours per week
• Float to other departments may be required based on business need
• On-call during a regularly scheduled shift may be required
• Epic EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) required
• Current ACLS (AHA) required — must not expire prior to start date
• Current NIHSS certification required — must not expire prior to start date
• ASN from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for ICU patients
• Performs health teaching, counseling, and treatment planning as part of patient care
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• BSN is preferred but not required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least 1 year to be eligible
