Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Circulator for a 13-week Operating Room assignment in Cedar Park, TX, requiring a minimum of 3 years of OR experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• 6-OR surgical unit offering a wide range of procedures including general surgery, bariatrics, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and select vascular cases
• Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
• Minimum 3 years of operating room experience as an RN Circulator
• Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include coordinating patient care throughout the surgical process, preparing the OR with necessary equipment and supplies, verifying patient identity and procedure, and maintaining a sterile and safe environment
• Serves as a patient safety advocate throughout all phases of surgical care, including monitoring and documenting care during procedures
• Works collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure efficient procedure flow
