Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Stepdown Intermediate Care position in Wichita, KS, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a KS or compact RN license.
Details
- 50-bed general Med/Surg and observation unit with stepdown intermediate care capabilities
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30 (12.5-hour shifts)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- MOAB De-Escalation Training required (Moderate Risk level)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Must commit to working both July 4th and Labor Day
- Local candidates may be considered but may be subject to a reduced pay rate based on proximity to the facility
- COVID vaccination is not required by this facility
