Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT/Radiology Tech with 2+ years of experience for a night shift travel contract in a hospital radiology department in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Details

• Hospital radiology department on the main floor
• Performs both CT and diagnostic X-ray exams independently
• Procedures include all diagnostic radiology exams, OR, fluoroscopy, interventional cases, trauma, and portable cases
• Equipment includes GE and Konica imaging systems
• Documentation systems: Meditech and Centricity PACS
• 4x10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday from 10:30 PM to 9:00 AM
• Schedule includes on-call coverage for weekends and holidays

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT and diagnostic radiology, with active experience within the last 6 months
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) required
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• Experience with Meditech and PACS systems preferred
• Proficiency in OR, fluoroscopy, interventional, trauma, and portable cases required
• Exceptional customer service skills required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• Two professional references required (position is in Florida)
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Independently performs all CT and diagnostic X-ray exams and procedures
• The facility is an acute care hospital offering open heart surgery, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center, a Cancer Care Center, and cardiovascular and trauma care
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
