Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience, including neuro experience, for a 13-week travel assignment in a CVL Invasive unit in Miami, FL.

Details

• 4-room cath lab with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift team consists of a director, manager, and a minimum of 3 staff members per room
• Night shift operates as an on-call team with 4 staff members on STEMI call
• Procedures include cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons, and ENT lab procedures
• All procedure rooms are equipped with GE equipment
• EMR systems used include Meditech and MacLab
• Day shift hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Maximum of 15 days of call required during critical periods

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab setting, with active experience within the last 6 months
• Neuro experience required
• BLS and ACLS required (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• RCIS or ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Scrub scrubs are provided by the unit
• Daily huddle calls are held to foster communication and team development
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
