Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring prior travel experience, Cerner proficiency, and combined adult/pediatric ED skills on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting in a hospital environment
• Combined adult and pediatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:4-6
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Every other weekend required, with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday and Saturday nights)
• Cerner EMR — experience required

Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• At least 1 prior completed travel nursing assignment required
• Experience with combined adult/pediatric emergency department settings required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required — not provided by the facility
• Orientation is held every Monday
• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• Any time off or scheduling requests must be communicated upfront
