Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position in Chicago, IL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of invasive cardiology experience and on-call availability.

Details

  • Work in the Invasive Cardiology (Cath Lab/EP) unit of an acute care hospital setting
  • Monday through Friday day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • On-call responsibilities required, with a 30-minute callback window and an expected minimum of 15–20 call days per 6-week period
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active IL RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (both must be AHA-issued)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab, IR, and/or EP — Cath Lab experience is required at minimum
  • Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
  • Driver's License required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide nursing care in an invasive cardiology environment including Cath Lab, EP, and/or IR procedures
  • Local candidates are accepted; however, a radius rule applies and may affect the pay rate
  • COVID vaccination is not required for this position
