Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down / Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of PCU or acute care experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Med-Surg / PCU Step Down unit in a hospital setting
- Placement will be on the unit with the greatest need, either a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit, based on the traveler's skills
- Night shift: 7p–7:30a
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- Floating required within skill set, both within the facility and to sites within 40 miles
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or acute care experience required
- Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Both Med-Surg RNs and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing requirements are the same for both skill sets
- Local candidates are welcome to apply, though candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible at a different pay rate
- Full SSN and full date of birth will be required as part of the submission process
- COVID vaccination is not required
