Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position at a unique island hospital community, requiring an active MA RN license and rotating shifts.
Details
- Hospital-based Med/Surg unit serving a year-round island community of 15,000+ residents, with up to 100,000 additional seasonal visitors annually
- Provides a full range of medical and wellness services in a community hospital setting
- Rotating shifts, 36 hours per week
- Charting via Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — AHA accepted (Red Cross also accepted for this facility)
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

- This hospital is located on Nantucket Island, approximately 30 miles off the coast of Massachusetts
- Shared housing is provided at no cost for the duration of the assignment
- Local candidates are welcome; those residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible at a slightly reduced rate
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
