Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist (multimodality) with 2+ years of trauma and stroke experience for rotating 12-hour night shifts at an acute care hospital.

Details

• Rotating 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• On-call required, limited to 2 days per week
• Multimodality role requiring proficiency in both CT and general radiography (X-ray)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience in a US hospital, with trauma and stroke experience required
• Associate's Degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required
• ARRT RT(R)(CT) required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Active state/district license required (license required if applicable); no pending licenses accepted
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• US SSN required
• Date of birth required for consideration
• Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer

Additional Information

• Operate CT and radiographic equipment, analyze body habitus to adjust technical factors, and consistently produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Position patients correctly and review physician orders while obtaining pertinent clinical data to minimize unnecessary radiation exposure
• Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation, supply management, contrast reaction response, and code participation
• Schedule and complete exams and enter accurate charge codes
• CPI certification is mandated for this position
