Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience and active DC RN licensure for a 13-week travel assignment.

- Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Cerner EMR experience required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license in DC required (no pending licenses)
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA-issued only), NIHSS, and CPI
- BSN highly desired; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Tele experience in a US hospital required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Active US Social Security Number required for consideration
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the last 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer
- Date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems, with appropriate documentation completed within established timeframes
- Delivers age-appropriate care across the life span by applying knowledge of growth and development
- Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- Certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
