Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of skilled home health experience for a 13-week travel assignment in the East Portland, OR area.

Details

Home health setting serving East Portland, OR and surrounding areas
8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week (4x10 and 3x12 schedules are not available)
Up to 6 patient visits per day; 30 productivity points is the standard expectation
Charting is completed via Epic Remote Client (laptop) and Rover app (phone), including OASIS documentation
No weekend or on-call requirements
Traveler must have reliable personal transportation; the system groups clients to minimize drive time, though total daily drive time may occasionally reach 60–90 minutes
Locals are accepted; candidates living within 50–75 miles of the service area are considered local and are eligible at the same rate

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of skilled home health PT experience required
Current BLS certification required
Epic EMR experience required
OASIS experience required
Must have reliable personal transportation
Active PT license required if applicable
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable setting required for consideration
SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
Business casual attire required; scrubs are allowed but not required and no specific color is mandated — jeans are not permitted
Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the submitting facility
Minimal RTO is preferred; any requested time off should be communicated upfront, as post-offer requests may be denied
