Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week contract at an acute care hospital recognized among America's 100 Best for Coronary Intervention.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 150 staffed beds, rated among America's 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention by Healthgrades
- Daily caseload of 8–12 cases
- Procedures include coronary diagnostic and intervention, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, permanent pacemaker implantation, and management of cardiac arrhythmias and peripheral vascular disease
- Charting in Epic (experience required)
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call is required; no weekend or float requirements
- Block scheduling will be considered
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Required certifications: ARRT, Fluoroscopy Permit, BLS, ACLS
- Candidates with a pending Fluoroscopy Permit will be considered, provided the application has already been submitted at time of consideration
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff
- Free parking is available on the first day; assignment parking details are provided during orientation
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and approved at time of consideration; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
- The facility offers housing assistance resources, including access to a realtor, for travelers who need help finding accommodations
- Located in Eureka, CA — within easy driving distance of 7 state and national parks, including the famous Redwood Highway
