Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring a GA or compact RN license and a minimum of 1 year of OR travel experience.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room setting
- Day shift schedule available as either 5x8-hour shifts (6:45am–3:15pm) or 4x10-hour shifts (6:45am–5:15pm)
- Approximately 1–2 on-call shifts per week
- Approximately 1–2 weekend shifts per month
- Holiday call coverage required
- Voluntary time off (VTO) may be offered up to twice a month during periods of low volume
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred, particularly in anticipation of an upcoming pediatric program
- Minimum of 1 year of OR travel nursing experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

- Facility is expanding services to include a pediatric surgical program in the near future
