Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, charge experience, and a 60-mile radius requirement.

Details

• Hospital Medical Surgical unit focused primarily on surgical patients
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Weekday and some weekend shifts required
• Floating required
• EMR: Meditech
• 13-week contract with 36 or 48 hour weekly contract options available — inquire during interview

Requirements

• Active RN license — KS or compact license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• IV start proficiency required
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Care for post-surgical and general medical-surgical patients
