Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT(CT) certification and Siemens experience for a night shift assignment at a Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated academic medical center in Roanoke, VA.

Details

• CT Scan department in an acute care teaching hospital that is a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and a certified stroke center
• 4x10 night shifts, Monday–Thursday, 9:00 PM–7:00 AM; start/end times may vary by up to 2 hours based on unit need
• No on-call requirement
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• May be required to float to a sister facility approximately half a mile from the primary location

Requirements

• Current BLS, ARRT(R), and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Virginia state license required; any active state license in hand is accepted, as Virginia grants emergency authorization while a permanent VA license is processing — license required if applicable
• Minimum experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Proficiency in radiation safety practices
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must meet a radius requirement to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging procedures including contrast media preparation and administration in accordance with radiation safety protocols
• Must be available to work one holiday per 13-week contract on a rotating basis with staff
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
