Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of telemetry experience and working night shifts on a 13-week travel contract in Oklahoma.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Telemetry patient population requiring EKG and cardiac monitoring
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to other facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated

Requirements

• Active OK RN license (Standard or Compact) required — pending licenses are not accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and completion of an EKG/Telemetry course
• Minimum 2 years of recent critical care or telemetry experience required
• Valid driver's license (DL) required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• A utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address dated within the last 3 months of the assignment start date is required for consideration
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment — holidays and blackout dates cannot be requested off
• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
