Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with strong multi-organ transplant experience for a travel assignment at a Magnet teaching hospital in Weston, FL.

Details

• OR setting within a 230-bed short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
• Liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant cases; will cover other OR cases when no transplant is scheduled
• Day shift schedule: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (4x10-hour shifts)
• On-call required: 1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling is not available
• Charting via Epic
• Ceil blue scrubs required
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of direct liver/transplant OR RN experience required
• Strong hands-on experience with liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant procedures — implantation experience required, not solely organ harvesting
• Proficiency with Misonix/CUSA equipment required
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS required at time of consideration
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as additions after submission are unlikely to be approved
• This is a nicotine-free facility — a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine is required, with no exceptions
• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be completed promptly upon assignment confirmation
• Candidates with prior employment at any Cleveland Clinic location should be aware that assignments are limited to 18 consecutive months, with a mandatory 6-month gap before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic facility
