Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient/rehabilitation clinic role in Cathedral City, CA.

• Outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation clinic setting
• Day shift with flexible scheduling
• 13-week contract
• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients across a variety of physical therapy and rehabilitation programs
• EMR used for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries
• Supervises PT Assistants and Aides as part of regular duties

Requirements

• Active CA Physical Therapist license required; license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
• Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Proficiency with EMR systems required
• Computer skills including typing, Word, and internet required
• Proficiency in ICD-10 coding and familiarity with PT billing procedures required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, assist with patient transfers, and remain physically mobile for 8-10 hour shifts
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Practice has been awarded Private Practice of the Year by the APTA
• Responsibilities include patient chart documentation, follow-up on prescriptions and authorizations, and coordination with physicians and front office staff
• Position involves supervising PT Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient care
• Candidate is expected to uphold HIPAA and patient privacy policies
• Continuing education courses are preferred
• No travel is required for this position
