Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract supporting an emergency department at a Level 2 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent CT experience.

Details

• Work in a CT Scan department at a Level 2 trauma center supporting high-volume Emergency Department CT exams
• Patient population spans all ages including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Cases include trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine exams for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services
• Uses Siemens CT scanners
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 8:00 PM - 8:30 AM
• No on-call required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• Experience operating Siemens CT scanners preferred
• License required if applicable
• Driver's License required for consideration
• All AHA certifications must be current and unexpired

Additional Information

• Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce diagnostic images of designated portions of the human body
• Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligible
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to offer — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
• The facility requires 100% credentialing completion prior to the start date
