Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Massachusetts, working nights on a 15-bed L&D unit with mother-baby rooming-in care.
Details
- 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit in an inpatient hospital setting
- Rooming-in model where all infants stay with mothers; newborn nursery available for infants requiring additional care
- Patient population includes neonates and adults
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Omnicell medication system used
- SBAR communication protocol used
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Beginner)
- Preferred certifications: AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate and Advanced)
- Minimum 2 years of L&D RN experience required
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply but will be screened based on experience
- Charge nurse experience is not required or preferred for this role
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront at the time of consideration
