Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Aurora, CO, requiring a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
Details
- RT/Respiratory Therapy unit in a 350-bed acute care hospital in Aurora, CO
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Staff ratio: 1 charge therapist and 5 staff per shift (day and night)
- Equipment used includes Hamilton G5, Hamilton C1, Hamilton T1, V60, and Vyaire Avea ventilators
- EMR system: Meditech (prior experience preferred)
- PEDS, NICU, and PICU experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RRT credential and licensure — license required if applicable
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- CRT or NBRC credential
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in area of placement
- Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience within the last 6 months
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Primary procedures include ventilator management and airway management
- Ideal candidates are energetic, team-oriented, and prioritize the patient experience
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- 13-week contract duration
