Description

American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level I Trauma Center academic medical center requiring at least 1 year of IR experience and ARRT(R) certification.

Details

• Work in a large, Level I Trauma Center academic medical center with 1,500+ staffed beds
• Interventional Radiology unit with bi-campus coverage across two campuses
• 4x10-hour day shifts between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM; 2x12 or 5x8 schedules also considered
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
• Optional call shifts available to pick up
• Charting via Epic
• Misty Green OR scrubs provided by the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
• ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required
• Trauma Center experience at a large facility required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable; pending licenses accepted provided the license is active prior to start date
• 1 professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• RTO of 7 days or fewer may be auto-approved; RTO exceeding 7 days requires facility approval
• Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted
• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
