Description
American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level I Trauma Center academic medical center requiring at least 1 year of IR experience and ARRT(R) certification.
Details
- Work in a large, Level I Trauma Center academic medical center with 1,500+ staffed beds
- Interventional Radiology unit with bi-campus coverage across two campuses
- 4x10-hour day shifts between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM; 2x12 or 5x8 schedules also considered
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
- Optional call shifts available to pick up
- Charting via Epic
- Misty Green OR scrubs provided by the facility
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
- ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required
- Trauma Center experience at a large facility required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- License required if applicable; pending licenses accepted provided the license is active prior to start date
- 1 professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
- RTO of 7 days or fewer may be auto-approved; RTO exceeding 7 days requires facility approval
- Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
- COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted
- Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
- Parking is available for $125
