Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 17-bed ICU/CSICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active AR or Compact RN license.

Details

• 17-bed ICU/CSICU unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population spans neonates to geriatrics, with a strong focus on cardiovascular and surgical cases including CABG, thoracotomy, carotid stenting, and heart valve procedures
• Experience with advanced therapies and specialized equipment including IABP, induced hypothermia, ECMO, and the Impella Heart Pump
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing required
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

• Provide direct patient care and leadership within a collaborative ICU nursing team
• Care is delivered using the nursing process within a Shared Governance model, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice
• Unit is on a Magnet Journey, reflecting a culture of professionalism, integrity, and respect
• This position is safety-sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana; facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation with no exceptions — candidates should avoid all products that could cause a positive result, including CBD, prior to arrival
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
