Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of OR experience, on-call availability, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room (OR) of an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 5:15 PM)
- On-call responsibilities are required
- 4 weekend shifts required over the course of the contract
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 1-2 years of OR experience required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
